MICA is committed to ensuring that families live in safe and affordable housing. One of the primary ways we do this is by making energy-efficiency improvements to family homes through the Weatherization Assistance Program. Improving housing is literally life-saving – through the health and safety checks of the Weatherization Assistance Program, we can identify potentially dangerous levels of carbon monoxide or gas leaks. In the long-term, families enjoy safer, more energy-efficient homes.
